This is what’s known as creative license

As you know, I’m reading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I noticed this:

Professor Dumbledore was now looking down at Harry, who looked right back at him, trying to discern the expression of the eyes behind the half-moon spectacles.

“Did you put your name into the Goblet of Fire, Harry?” Dumbledore asked calmly.

But then I thought back to the movie. Dumbledore doesn’t seem too calm.

And I thought I was so clever, too, until I came across this while searching for this gif. Whatever, I’m still clever.

      I’m finding The Goblet of Fire to be chock full of things that I was never aware of. Makes sense though… it is a 600 page book.

    I didn’t like Michael Gabon’s portrayal of Dumbledore at all. Too harsh, etc. The ending in the movie drove me crazy also. Another case of the books far surpassing the movies!
