The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
Loved both the book and the movie, though the movie felt a little rushed in comparison with the book.

Interstellar
Stretched a bit thin in the last third, but visually stunning. AND THEY FILMED SOME OF IT IN MY ALMA MATER!

The Life of Pi by Yann Martel
Barack Obama wrote this note to Yann Martel. I agree. The same is true of the movie.

Cress by Marissa Meyer
Thorne is my favourite character in the series so far. He’s the comic relief. I’m pretty excited for book four.

Scarlet by Marissa Meyer
Love how she kept Cinder’s story going while focussing on a whole new set of characters. Red Riding Hood is bad ass. Kendra wrote a review for this one, too.

Cinder by Marissa Meyer
I LOVE FAIRY TALES. I LOVE DYSTOPIAN WORLDS. And I’m pretty pumped that this version of Cinderella delves deeper than evil sisters and Prince Charming. (So does my friend Kendra, and she actually writes hilarious reviews.)
