Where is the Love (2016 remix) by The Black Eyed Peas

[Chorus: will.i.am]
People killin’ people dyin’
Children hurtin’, I hear them cryin’
Can you practice what you preachin’?
Would you turn the other cheek again?
Mama, mama, mama, tell us what the hell is goin’ on
Can we all just get along?
Father, Father, Father, help us
Send some guidance from above
Cause people got me, got me questioning
(Where’s the love)

If I Had A Heart by Fever Ray

I’ve been binging Vikings—which means I’ve listened to this song about a million times—and I still can’t get enough.

If I Had A Heart

This will never end ’cause I want more
More, give me more, give me more

This will never end ’cause I want more
More, give me more, give me more

If I had a heart I could love you
If I had a voice I would sing
After the night when I wake up
I’ll see what tomorrow brings

If I had a voice I would sing

Dangling feet from window frame
Will They ever ever reach the floor?
More, give me more, give me more

Crushed and filled with all I found
Underneath and inside
Just to come around
More, give me more, give me more

If I had a voice I would sing

Without a Fight by Brad Paisley

I’m a country girl at heart, which obviously means that I love country music. I’ve always been a fan of Brad Paisley, and I especially love when he teams up with powerhouse talent. So, since you’re a smart cookie, you’re probably already picking up what I’m putting down. But Imma say it loud and clear: I dig this new song featuring Demi Lovato.

Without a Fight

There’s a tangled mess of sheets on the bed
A lack of sleep poundin’ in my head
We both regret some of the things we said
But we love the way it ends

Sometimes I think
We hurt each other just because where it’ll lead
Sometimes I think
We’re fighting just to be lovers and all so needlessly

Good as we are at gettin’ it on
How come we just can’t get along?
The way we love, it don’t seem right
The way we fuss, the way we fight
I got a crazy idea, how ’bout maybe tonight
We make up without a fight

They say don’t go to bed angry, that’s true
But it’s really something when we do
(Madder you make me, the more I want you)
Girl, I admit

Sometimes I think
It couldn’t be any better
(And I couldn’t want you more)
And sometimes I think
We don’t belong together
Confusing love and war

Good as we are at gettin’ it on
How come we just can’t get along?
The way we love, it don’t seem right
The way we fuss, the way we fight
I got a crazy idea, how ’bout maybe tonight
We make up without a fight

We ain’t givin’ up, without a fight
We can make up, without a fight
(No, we ain’t givin’ up, we can make up)

Good as we are at gettin’ it on
How ’bout maybe tonight
We make up, without a fight

Lost Boy by Ruth B.

It may be because I just read Peter Pan, or because Neverland has a strong connection to my childhood, or because I want to hang out with Peter Pan, Tinkerbell and Wendy Darling, or because I love piano ballads, but I am in love with this song.

Lost Boy

There was a time when I was alone
Nowhere to go and no place to call home
My only friend was the man in the moon
And even sometimes he would go away, too

Then one night, as I closed my eyes,
I saw a shadow flying high
He came to me with the sweetest smile
Told me he wanted to talk for awhile
He said, “Peter Pan. That’s what they call me.
I promise that you’ll never be lonely.”
And ever since that day…

I am a lost boy from Neverland
Usually hanging out with Peter Pan
And when we’re bored we play in the woods
Always on the run from Captain Hook
“Run, run, lost boy,” they say to me,
“Away from all of reality.”

Neverland is home to lost boys like me
And lost boys like me are free

He sprinkled me in pixie dust and told me to believe
Believe in him and believe in me
Together we will fly away in a cloud of green
To your beautiful destiny
As we soared above the town that never loved me
I realized I finally had a family
Soon enough we reached Neverland
Peacefully my feet hit the sand
And ever since that day…

I am a lost boy from Neverland
Usually hanging out with Peter Pan
And when we’re bored we play in the woods
Always on the run from Captain Hook
“Run, run, lost boy,” they say to me,
“Away from all of reality.”

Neverland is home to lost boys like me
And lost boys like me are free

Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, Wendy Darling,
Even Captain Hook.
You are my perfect story book
Neverland, I love you so,
You are now my home sweet home
Forever a lost boy at last

And for always I will say…

I am a lost boy from Neverland
Usually hanging out with Peter Pan
And when we’re bored we play in the woods
Always on the run from Captain Hook
“Run, run, lost boy,” they say to me,
“Away from all of reality.”

Neverland is home to lost boys like me
And lost boys like me are free
