The Good Guy
I adore Bryan Greenberg. And Alexis Bledel. And Anna Chlumsky (you know, Vada from My Girl). Even Scott Porter wasn’t as annoying as usual (clearly, I mean Hart of Dixie). All in all, this was “fresh and original.”

Barely Lethal
A movie about a rogue teenage secret agent who runs away from her super covert assassin school to attend regular high school, starring Samuel L. Jackson, Jessica Alba, that chick who plays Sansa Stark, and Louis Litt’s scary fiancée Sheila sounds awesome, right? Too bad it wasn’t. Watch ONLY if you enjoyed Prom.

Bravetown
It took me a while to figure out why the kid looked so familiar. Then BAM! He’s in the Hannah Montana movie. Obviously. In other news, I have no idea what genre this is supposed to be. It might be a teen dance movie. It might be trying [very hard but not so successfully] to be…

Tomorrow’s Promise by Sandra Brown
BLARGH. Why are her characters always so asinine? Not worth a number on my challenge. PS. Quick tip for authors: don’t describe clothing in detail. No one cares. Unless it’s a chastity belt. Then some people might care.

The Astronaut Wives Club by Lily Koppel
Despite having far too many names to keep track of (over 50 astronauts and their wives), and my general dislike for biography, this was really quite interesting. A decent read. No. 22 on my challenge. The pictures help to distinguish one astronaut wife from another.

1984 by George Orwell
It is a strange thing to read a dystopian novel set in a time before your own birth. Disturbing, yet quite good. And the movie adaptation starring John Hurt was powerful.
