  • I’m on a list!

Remember back in July when I was doing my Games with All Lit Up posts? Well today is All Lit Up‘s first birthday and to celebrate they made a list of their top ten moments. My posts are number eight. I made the list! I’m not going to lie, this is pretty cool.

  • Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation

I’m being 100% serious when I say this: It. Was. Awesome. It’s action packed, funny, and the plot is involved enough to keep you invested in the story while you’re being entertained by Tom Cruise’s ridiculously impressive spy antics (did you know he did his own stunts?! See that picture? That’s real. He actually agreed…

  • Fantastic Four

More like Catastrophic Quatre, amiright?! I was ignoring the reviews because, you know, Miles Teller. I thought: How bad can it be? Especially since Jamie Bell and Kate Mara and that new Michael Jordan are in it, too. But man, it’s bad. It’s so bad. It’s not even so bad it’s good. It’s just bad.

  • What do you guys think?

Should I purchase this book? It could be a fresh start for me. And it’s so affordable. My friend Adam doesn’t think it would really be a fresh start. He thinks it comes with a lot of baggage.

  • The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis

I will never not love this book. I can’t wait to read it as a bedtime story. Even the dedication is amazing: My dear Lucy, I wrote this story for you, but when I began it I had not realized that girls grow quicker than books. As a result you are already too old for fairy…

  • The Day the Crayons Came Home by Drew Daywalt

It’s the sequel to The Day the Crayons Quit and it’s just as amazing. I mean, look. He changes his name to Esteban! The kidlets are getting this one, too.

  • The Day the Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt

I don’t care how old you are, you’re going to love this. Honestly, one of the funniest children’s books I’ve ever read. It’s downright hilarious. And Oliver Jeffers’ illustrations make it just that much better. I can’t wait to give it to my niece and nephews.

  • The Tiny Wife by Andrew Kaufman

I’m 100% convinced that everything Andrew Kaufman writes is pure gold. Absolutely genius. I don’t know how he’s able to say so much about love in such a short book, but he is incredibly successful in doing so. No. 14 on my challenge. Thank goodness—it would have been terrible for Nancy if she’d had to…

  • Frog Music by Emma Donoghue

Well, Oprah certainly enjoyed it more than I did, but I didn’t not like it. I just didn’t love it. I should have just sat down and read it in one sitting, but I don’t think I cared enough about the characters or the story to do so. All in all, though, it was a…
