Miss Congenitality
From sea to shining sea, Like Lady Liberty, She reigns over all she seeeeees, She’s beauty and she’s grace, She’s Miss United States… Sixteen years and I still remember it. This movie is golden. Good old Sandra Bullock.

In the Heart of the Sea
I mean, Thor is in it, so I was never not going to like it. Also, all of the scenes featuring the whale are incredible, and it’s the story that inspired Melville to write Moby Dick. So yeah, it’s good.

Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens
Do you know what’s great about this movie? Everything. Everything.

Straight Outta Compton
So you know that producer who released those fancy headphones that cost and arm and a leg? And the angry police chief in 21 Jump Street? This movie is about them. (That was my only frame of reference going in to this. And then…) I am in awe of the casting director for this movie.…

Deadpool
So. Much. Hilarity. From opening credits to closing, Deadpool was riotously funny, wickedly inappropriate, and unexpectedly sentimental. My favourite (PG-13) line: “Funny I only ever see the two of you [at X-Mansion]. It’s like the studio can’t afford another X-Man.”

Song of the Sea
What an exquisite movie. Not only is the animation absolutely gorgeous, the story is adorable, entertaining, and beautifully Irish. A children’s movie for all ages.

50 Shades of what now?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ttfL7-BB7M Why, oh why was Jamie Dornan cast when we could have had this?
